At Prosper Pianos, we currently have two different Mason & Hamlin Grands in the showroom available for purchase. Both have been completely rebuilt and refinished, with not a stone left unturned in the process of enhancing these pianos to their former glory. The BB Model in Ebony boasts a huge bass, soaring treble, and tenor that in my words, glows. The depth of sustain is due to the health of the sound board, which still has crown and no cracks.

The AA Model in Walnut is a quintessential representation of the prewar, golden era sound. It’s sound is achieved through a solid spruce soundboard, meticulously tuned and voiced to perfection. The result is a tone that is simultaneously rich and resonant, capable of conveying both power and nuance.

Below you can find a video of renowned pianist Lara Saldhana playing Raval’s “Tombeau de Couperin” on both of the Mason & Hamlins at our showroom.
